Paula Rivera was born in Mexico City and studied law and political science before deciding to pursue a career in the arts. She started dancing at a young age and eventually came to Vancouver, British Columbia to participate in further dance training. She honed her dramatic and acting skills by appearing in a number of theatrical productions in Vancouver and Toronto, including Studio 16`s Lion in the Streets and Twelfth Night. She also wrote and starred in Every Girl Wants A Skirt Like Frida’s, which began life as a play and was first performed a Toronto`s annual Fringe Festival. She is pictured above in her role as Anna on the CTV comedy series, Hiccups.
