Maxim Roy, pictured above at the 2015 Canadan Screen Awards where the series 19-2 was nominated as Best Dramatic Series. Roy landed her first lead role in the television series Au nom du père et du fils, which was based on the best selling book. She was also cast in the sequel, Le Sorcier. At an early age she worked with Denys Arcand in Love & Human Remains and with Bruce McDonald in the CBC TV movie, Platinum. Her versatility allows Roy to play characters that are often colourfully different, such as the man-crazed Sonia in the Golden Reel winner Les Boys or the always serious Caroline Morrison for a couple of seasons on ReGenesis.
