Devon Edward Sawa started acting on stage when he was 11. At 14, he was the spokesperson in a commercial for Kenner`s Nerf Toys. He had a small role in the Canadian fantasy series The Odyssey, and a larger role in KidZone, a Canadian docudrama about high school, which aired in the United States as Kerrisdale High. He extended his profile in the US with a guest-starring role on Lonesome Dove for CBS. His first film role was as the quarterback in 1994`s Little Giants and then in 1995 he appeared in Casper and Now and Then, both opposite Christina Ricci. He is probably best known for playing the role of Sam Matthews on 32 episodes of Nikita from 2010 to 2013. He is pictured above as Nico Jackson in the 2017 series Somewhere Between.
