Matthews is a diverse, award-winning artist, actress, singer, comedienne, writer and producer. She has worked on stage and screen with artists like John Travolta, Andrea Martin, and Ron Howard, as well as toured her award-winning one woman shows around the world from Africa to New York, Scotland and beyond. She was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award in 2019 for her work on the CBC series Frankie Drake Mysteries.
