Jeffrey St. Jules is a graduate of Concordia University and The Canadian Film Centre. He is the only Canadian ever to have been selected for the CANNES FESTIVAL RESIDENCE. His innovative and often surreal films have been praised for their boldness and originality. His first feature length film, Bang Bang Baby starring Jane Levy, Justin Chatwin and Peter Stormare, was awarded best first Canadian feature at TIFF 2014. The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced in late January 2015 that St. Jules would be given the prestigious Claude Jutra Award, which is sponsored by Telefilm Canada. for his first feature film, Bang Bang Baby.
