Forced to move back to hometown Windsor, wannabe comedian Moses Kim finds his dreams derailed in his family restaurant. Life gets more complicated when Moses’ teenage cousin from Korea unexpectedly shows up. Stand Up Man was selected to be the Closing Gala film at the 2017 Reel Asian Film Festival in Toronto. The film marks Aram Collier’s directorial debut. Telefilm Canada’s Micro-budget program provided basic funding and the film was finished thanks in part of a successful IndieGoGo fundraising campaign. |
