High school teacher Ron Spencer (Tom Cavanagh), has been a lifelong birder. Now he is getting ready to move on and into his new job as Head of Ornithology at a National Park. It’s a career change he`s wanted for years but just on the verge of it happening he learns that a younger and hipper person, Floyd Hawkins (Jamie Spilchuk) will be getting the job with the hope he’ll bring a younger generation to the hobby of bird watching. Ron’s daughter, Samantha (Cassidy Renee), also an avid birdwatcher, thinks her dad should be more in touch with the modern technology of bird watching. None of this sits well with Ron. In fact, he not only thinks he is losing job, but his daughter as well. He decides to get his revenge and teams up with a former student and high school janitor Ben (Mark Rendall), who has reasons of his own to get back at Floyd. The two men try their best to ruin Floyd, with predictably, terrible and hilarious results. |
