A young couple are thrust into a savage wasteland when they trek deep into the wilderness on a honeymoon canoe trip. As they set up camp and party on an isolated lake, Nicole hears a car approaching down an abandoned logging road. When she makes the fatal mistake of trespassing to take a closer look at their neighbours, the newlyweds become targets in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse. Winner of two Best Feature Film awards, The Honeymoon was shot in the woods of Ontario with a skeleton crew and no access to electricity or running water. The Honeymoon had its World Premiere at the 2013 Montreal World Film Festival. |
