Tom Wilson is a Canadian rock and folk musician. He has won three Juno Awards and released 14 albums including three solo records, but he doesn’t confine himself to just writing and performing music. He dabbles in movies and painting. His first book, Beautiful Scars, is about him learning his Indigenous identity when he was 53 years old, when a speaking tour handler who knew his family let slip that he was adopted. The book, published by Doubleday Canada/Penguin Random House Canada, is subtitled Steeltown Secrets, Mohawk Skywalkers and the Road Home.
