Louise Turcot enjoys an impressive list of stage credits and has appeared in productions of major classical authors lile Molière or Chekhov, as well as local contemporary playwrights like Carole Fréchette, François Archambault, Michel Marc Bouchard and Wajdi Mouawad. Her performance in Wit by the American author Margaret Edson, staged by Denise Guilbault, brought the Masque de l’interprétation féminine award in 2006. When she isn’t on stage, Louise Turcot devotes much of her free time to writing and has published several novels, including Mademoiselle J.J. and Un grand fleuve si tranquille. |
