Kristopher Turner, a graduate of the University of Winnipeg, is pictured above in a CBC publicity still and is probably best known for his role as Oliver Lawson on two seasons of the CBC series This Life. Both a stage and screen actor, he received a Gemini nomination for his work on the 2006 made-for-TV movie Me and Luke. Turner also received a Gemini nomination for his work on the mini-series Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures. On stage, Turner starred in the North American premiere of the play That Face with Canadian Stage, as well as the world premiere of In Gabriel’s Kitchen with Buddies in Bad Times, along with Two Weeks, Twice a Year at Young People’s Theatre, for which he was nominated for a Dora Award. |
