Tyson Caron graduated from the I. H. Asper School Business with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree (Marketing). Upon graduation he followed his filmmaking dreams and took a job as an assistant director on the Children’s TV Show, Tipi Tales. By Season 3 he worked his way up to a producer and wrote two episodes. In 2013, Tyson wrote, directed and produced the documentary Sign Up & Stand Up for MTS. The documentary explored the lives of rising stand-up comedians in Winnipeg. In 2014 Tyson was awarded a Bravofactual grant for his documentary A Tennis Story. The film was broadcast on Bravo in the spring of 2016. |
