Until Branches Bend, a Canada-Switzerland, coproduction, is set in the seemingly peaceful Okanagan region of British Columbia. When an unusual, potentially invasive insect is discovered inside a peach by fruit packer Robin (Grace Glowicki), she immediately reports it. However, management refuses to take action, so she goes public with her concerns, precipitating a widescale shutdown that threatens to devastate her Okanagan town.
