Voluntary Gestures is an intimate portrait of Jeffrey Koterba that explores the relationship between his artistic expression and the neurological disorder he has, Tourette Syndrome (TS). Koterba is a published author, syndicated editorial cartoonist and a professional musician who lives and works in Omaha, Nebraska. In this short film that won two awards at the Omaha Film Fesival, we discover how TS acts as a creative – or destructive – force in Koterba`s illustrations, writing and music.
