Wiebke Von Carolsfeld grew up in Germany and studied at the University of Cologne before moving to Canada. Her career in film began as an editor on a number of highly acclaimed Canadian films including The Five Senses, Eisenstein, which received a Genie nomination for best editing, and The Bay of Love and Sorrows. Her career as a director began with two short films which went on win awards and to be screened internationally. The 2002 film, Marion Bridge was her first feature film. |
