B: 1971 in Toronto, Ontario

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Aaron began making films at an early age, studying the techniques of animation at the Art Gallery of Ontario. After graduating from York University’s Film Production Department, he worked in the industry as a television writer, stop-motion animator and editor, receiving two Screen Award nominations. He directed a number of award-winning short films and his feature debut Rhinoceros Eyes starring Michael Pitt, won the Discovery Award at the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival. His follow-up, Tennessee, was an indie road-drama starring Mariah Carey, produced by Lee Daniels, and his third film, The Entitled, was a thriller starring Ray Liotta. His latest projects are both animated features – Spark: A Space Tail, a stereoscopic space adventure starring the voice talents of Hilary Swank, Jessica Biel, Susan Sarandon and Patrick Stewart is set for release in April 2017, and Arctic Justice starring Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, James Franco, Omar Sy, Anjelica Huston, Michael Madsen, Heidi Klum and John Cleese is set for 2018.
