Donald Woods was a prolific actor with a 40 year career that included appearances in 98 plays, 150 television shows and 75 films. He often referred to himself as the “King of the Bs.” His best-known work includes Frisco Kid, Heritage of the Desert, The Return of Tin Tin Tin, Kissin’ Cousins, and True Grit. Known primarily for his western and “whodunit” work, Donald Woods left Hollywood and became a successful real estate broker in Palm Springs, California. Born Ralph L. Zink, he legally changed his name to Donald Woods in 1945.
