B: November 12, 1945 in Toronto, Ontario
The son of a famed Toronto newspaper columnist, Neil Perceval Kenneth Robert Ragland Young first came to the attention of folk-rock aficionados as part of the band Buffalo Springfield, but it was his long association with the legendary Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young that established him as a major force in the music business. Like many rock composers Young’s songs are often licensed for use in films and television but he is not, per se, a film composer. This are his credits as a composer and as an actor when he has rarely portrayed someone other than himself in a movie. |
