Celebrating Black History Month – Mouna Traoré

(February 6, 2024 – Toronto, ON) 


Born in Toronto, Mouna Traoré was drawn to performing at an early age and took her first acting classes at Toronto’s famed Young Peoples Theatre. Later she would spend summers at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan and then attended the prestigious Etobicoke School of the Arts, where she wrote and starred in several theatrical productions. Pictured at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards in support of the series The Porter, in which she played the role of Marlene Massey, the series swept the TV section taking 12 of the prestigious awards in March of 2023.
