Sasha (Sara Montpetit) est une jeune vampire avec un grave problème: elle est trop humaniste pour mordre ! Lorsque ses parents, exaspérés, décident de lui couper les vivres, sa survie est menacée. Heureusement pour elle, Sasha fait la rencontre de Paul, un adolescent solitaire aux comportements suicidaires qui consent à lui offrir sa vie. Ce qui devait être un échange de bons procédés se transforme alors en épopée nocturne durant laquelle les deux nouveaux amis chercheront à réaliser les dernières volontés de Paul avant le lever du soleil.

In Vampire Humaniste Cherche Suicidaire Consentant, aka Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person in English, and usually called Humanist Vampire, Sasha (Sara Montpetit)is is a young vampire with a serious problem: she is too humanistic to bite! When her parents, exasperated, decide to cut off her supplies, her survival is threatened. Fortunately, Sasha meets Paul, a lonely teenager with suicidal behaviours who agrees to offer her his life. What was supposed to be an exchange of good practices then turns into a nocturnal epic during which the two new friends seek to fulfill Paul’s last wishes before sunrise.

Shortlisted for the 2023 Jean-Marc Vallée DGC Discovery Award, Ariane Louis-Seize won the Best Director award in the Giornate degli Autori program at the Venice International Film Festival.
