Kellie Ann Benz

Kellie Ann Benz was born in Redding, California and raised in British Columbia. She began her filmmaking career in 1994 when she optioned her first screenplay to Cambridge Films. Nominated for a Leo Award, she was a Crazy 8’s Finalist writer/director in 2010. Benz was given a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award for the 2008 short, Awkward. She returned to the United States in 2014.
