Cynthia Dale

Cynthia Dale began life as Cynthia Ciurluini and started her career when she was just five years old in the chorus of Finian’s Rainbow at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. In addition to her work on television and in film, Cynthia Dale has started to perform on stage. She has enjoyed particular success since 1999 in Stratford, Ontario in a string of highly popular musicals including Camelot, Man of La Mancha, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. She released her first CD in 2002. Usually remembered for her work in the series Street Legal, which ran from 1987 to 1994, CBC announced in early 2018 that they would broadcast a 6-part mini-series of Street Legal which. brings the concept and the cast into the 21st century. Cynthia Dale will reprise her role as Olivia Novak, but now, 25 years later, she is a named partner at a major Bay Street law firm. Like the original series, this reboot plans to combine high-stakes, cutting edge storylines with ongoing serialized character development, focused on the people who practice law, and the lives they lead both on and off the job. Production is slated to begin in the fall of 2018 in Montreal and Toronto.
