Dennis Gerrard Stephen Doherty was an original member of the Mamas & Papas. He worked in television, theatre, film, and radio beginning in the 1960s. He was given a Gemini nomination for “Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series” for Theodore Tugboat in 1997.
