Hallie Switzer graduated with honours from Rosedale Heights School for the Arts. As a singer/songwriter, in 2007, she formed Wee Golden. In 2008, she made her film debut with a one-line role in the film Only. Switzer is the daughter of actor-producer-writer-director, Ingrid Veninger. She is pictured at TIFF 2017 where the film Porcupine Lake, directed by her mother, will have its World Premiere.
