Katharine Isabelle started out in life as Katharine Isobel Murray. She is the daughter of well-known Canadian art director Graeme Murray and began her career at a very early age. By the time she was five she made her film debut in the major motion picture Cousins (1989), starring Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini. In 2008 Isabelle won a Gemini for her outstanding performance in The Englishman’s Boy. She also won Best Actress in 2012 at Screamfest for for her portrayal in the title role of the horror film American Mary. She is pictured as Margot Verger from the NBC TV series Hannibal, which starred Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy and was shot in Toronto.
