Vancouver-born, Toronto-based singer/songwriter Tyler Shaw won the “MuchMusic Coca-Cola Covers Contest 2012” and rose to fame following the release of his debut single, Kiss Goodnight, through Sony Music Canada in December 2012. The song was certified Gold by Music Canada in April 2013. Shaw’s debut studio album, Yesterday, was released on September 4, 2015. Kiss Goodnight spent 22 weeks in the Top 10 on AC Radio and peaking at #5 on that chart. Shaw also picked up an impressive JUNO Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. He made his big screen debut (pictured) in the award-winning feature The Meaning of Life.
