The Making of The Other Half

(December 2, 2016 – Toronto, ON) A new movie with a deeply emotional approach to the topic of grief opens today. The Other Half costars Tom Cullen, known for The Last Days on Mars (2013), as well as television roles in The Five (2015), World Without End (2012), and most notably as Lord Gillingham on Downton Abbey (2013-2014), and Tatiana Maslany, known for her breakthrough, award-winning multiple character portrayals on the hit series Orphan Black as well as for a string of films including Two Lovers and a Bear and The Woman in Gold, in which she played the young Helen Mirren character.

The director is character actor Joey Klein. He has been a working film/TV actor for the last decade, with roles in American Gangster, On The Road and most recently an appearance in the series 12 Monkeys. Klein’s previous directing experience includes two short films. The Other Half is his first feature-length film and the first film in a planned trilogy. He recently sat down with Northernstars Founder & Publisher Ralph Lucas to talk about the making of The Other Half.
