Zack Russell

Born and raised in Toronto, Zack Russell has written for television and is known for two award-winning narrative shorts, including She Stoops to Conquer, which premiered at SXSW and won a 2016 Canadian Screen Award. His 2022 film, Someone Lives Here was his first documentary and screened at the 30th anniversary of Hot Docs in 2023. His background is in theatre including a collaboration with Sook-Yin Lee on the 2019 play Unsafe.
