Pavan Moondi progressed from shorts to features fairly smoothly with Every Day Is Like Sunday, which began life as a short in 2011 and was remade as a feature in 2014. His sophomore movie, Diamond Tongues (2015; which he also edited), had its world premiere at Slamdance and was picked up for distribution by Mongrel Media.
