Marsha Greene

Marsha Greene is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre Prime Time Television program, holds an Honours BA in Creative Writing from York University, and has a graduate certificate from Humber College’s TV Writing and Producing program, where she was awarded the Brian Linehan Award for Outstanding Artistic Promise. In 2015, she received a BravoFACT award for her short film In The Room, and was the Interactive Writer for the YTV/Teen Nick series Open Heart, which won the Digi Award for Best Interactive Content–Kids. She was Co-Creator and Show-runner on the Emmy-nominated series The Porter for CBC and BET+. She is pictured holding her 2023 Canadian Screen Award for writing on The Porter. She previously served as a Show-runner on Lifetime’s Mary Kills People, as well as a Co-EP on CBC’s breakout hit Coroner. We list her credits, most of the in television, as a Screenwriter first.
